Larimar Pendant in Silver and Gold
Larimar is the embodiment of the tranquil Sea and Sky energies. Its soft, soothing blues and calming turquoise is streaked with white patterns that resemble sunlight dancing beneath Caribbean waters. It brings the ancient wisdom of Atlantis and the healing power of dolphins to harmonize the body and soul. Larimar is also known as the Dolphin Stone, Blue Pectolite, Atlantis Stone, and Stefilia's Stone. Originally discovered in 1916, it was named by the Dominican who re-discovered it in 1974, taking the first letters of his daughter's name, Larissa, and the Spanish word for the sea, mar, to create Larimar.
This beautiful blue larimar, marquise shaped gem, has been set into fine and sterling silver with two 10K gold rings. The necklace is adjustable at 16 and 18 inches. The color tone of this precious larimar is stunning and reminds me of the Caribbean sea. This is a pendant with a gorgeous pop of blue to remind you of the sea.
The pendant measures about 3/4 inch wide by 3/8 inch tall and is attached with two 10K gold rings that connect to a pretty sterling silver chain with long ovals. The necklace can be worn at both 16 inch and 18 inch lengths. The back of the pendant is open so you can see the larimar and as a surprise, there is a tiny natural pattern on the gem that reminds me of a swimming fish.
